Itinerary

There is no set itinerary at Bambelela Horse Safaris. On a typical day you go for a ride after breakfast. After the ride there is time to relax, swim in the pool and eat lunch. If we do two rides a day there is another outride later in the afternoon. After feeding the horses we have dinner at the lodge. In the evening there is enough time to relax or we go for a game drive on our property.

We are doing outrides on different locations around the lodge. The animals you may see on our own property are giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, ostrich, jackal, nyala, impala, duyker and sable. Our neighbouring properties with 600-1000 hectares also has kudu, warthog, wild dog, hyena, hippo, crocodile and leopard. The properties do also have a great variety of birds. In wintertime (when the water is low) we can do rides on the riverbed of the Olifants River.
