We had a fantastic holiday at Bambelela Horse Safaris! We enjoyed countless beautiful rides and saw countless wild animals up close along the way. It was truly magical to see giraffes in their natural habitat and a herd of zebras galloping alongside us—an experience we'll never forget!

Dianne and Lucas ran the rides exceptionally well, creating a relaxed, warm atmosphere. The accommodation is beautiful and fully equipped. Everything is taken care of down to the last detail, with incredibly friendly service. In addition to horseback safaris, Bambelela also offers other activities. We visited Kruger National Park, Jessica the Hippo, and Elephant Moments, all highly recommended!

A holiday that exceeded all our expectations. We enjoyed it so much. A place that will always hold a special place in our hearts.

My time at Bambelela Horse Safari was unforgettable!

From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the accommodation was spotless and perfectly maintained.

The horseback safaris were truly impressive: riding past giraffes, zebras, various wild animals, and large herds – a magical experience you truly have to live at least once in your life.

Between the rides, it was pure relaxation by the pool, and the food was surprisingly good: flavorful, fresh, and prepared with great care. And all of that at a very affordable price!

In short: a holiday to remember. I highly recommend Bambelela to anyone looking for a unique mix of adventure, nature, and relaxation.

Went on an incredible bush trek with Lucas and Dianne. Incredibly knowledgeable instruction from the pair, as well as safe, well trained beautiful horses. As an experienced rider I would recommend both the 1 hour ride or the 3 hour intermediate trek. Very beginner friendly horses, but well trained for an experienced rider to really have some fun on a longer trek. Beautiful and clean chalets were available to stay the night on the property - wish we had planned an extra night to stay at the lodge. Overall 10/10 experience, thank you again for sharing your horses and beautiful property Dianne and Lucas!!!

Super leuke ervaring! Het was voor mij lang geleden dat ik op een paard zat maar voelde me erg comfortabel dankzij het team. De omgeving was prachtig en het team erg vriendelijk. We kwamen verschillende dieren tegen onderweg, waaronder giraffes en wildebeest. Zou het zeker aanraden. Dank jullie wel!

Where to start an absolutely breath taking view from the dining area/pool. The water hole in front of the lodge has always got some kind of animals coming to drink from it and lots of birdlife for your keen birders. And I went out of a few horse safaris wow!!! What an amazing experience moving amongst the wildlife on horseback. I most definitely will be going back. I would like to say a big Thank you to the team that runs the lodge they went above and beyond to make sure I enjoy my stay.
