Horseback Trail Rides

Bambelela Horse Safaris offers 1-hour horseback trail rides in Hoedspruit area on our property (approx. 100 hectares). We do have giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, ostrich, impala, nyala, sable, and a beautiful view of the mountains. For all level of riders. Only walking - we can do a short trot (if you can). 

Our 2-3-hours rides are a combination of riding through the orchids (lemons/grapefruits and oranges) and seeing wildlife. We are riding on our neighbouring reserve (approx. 1000 ha.)  Chance to see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, nyala, sable, warthog, kudu, hippo, crocodile and a variety of birds at the dam. There is a beautiful dam with mountain view. Only for advanced riders!! 

* Advanced means - You are confident in walk, trot and canter and able to ride independently. You ride at least once a week and you have years of riding experience. 

 

Rates 2026

Morning / afternoon ride  - 1 hour |  R 550 per person 

Morning ride - 2 hours |  R 820 per person (for advanced riders only)

Morning ride - 3 hours |  R 920 per person (for advanced riders only)

 

* Small groups max 4 people. Single riders are also welcome (no extra fee). 

* Age 8+. Weight limit is 85 kg - Please wear closed shoes and long pants/jeans - Riding helmets are provided. 

* Be in time for your ride - you need to arrive at least 15 min. before the ride starts. Your riding time is going in at the time we made the booking for.
